Psa 11:3 “When the foundations are being destroyed, what can the righteous do?”
The world today feels increasingly unstable. War rages in Gaza. Russia presses on against its neighbors. Nations realign, and global tension rises. Fear whispers of a third world war. Psalm 11:3 asks a crucial question: What can the righteous do when the foundations collapse? When peace, morality, and order fall apart, God’s people must not freeze in fear—they must rise in faith.
Scripture gives us firm ground. Proverbs 10:30 says, “The righteous will never be shaken.” David declared, “I have set the Lord always before me… I shall not be moved” (Ps 16:8). Noah obeyed in chaotic times. Daniel prayed under political pressure. The early church thrived during persecution. In uncertain times, the righteous don’t retreat—they stand rooted in truth and anchored in God’s presence.
Now is the time to trust in the Lord (Ps 11:1), take refuge in Him, and remain unshaken. Jesus foretold wars and rumors of wars (Matt 24:6) but told us not to be troubled. Though the systems of this world may crumble, God’s Kingdom remains unshaken (Heb 12:28). When foundations fall, our faith must rise—not in fear, but in confidence that our God still reigns.
