1 Sam 1:7 (NIV) βThis went on year after year. Whenever Hannah went up to the house of the Lord, her rival provoked her till she wept and would not eat.β
Hannahβs journey to Shiloh was marked by pain, ridicule, and waiting. Yet year after year she still went on and went up to the house of the Lord. Though provoked to tears, she never stopped seeking God. Her persistence shows us that true faith endures even through repeated trials.
Breakthrough often follows such perseverance. In her bitterness of soul, Hannah poured out her heart before the Lord, and He remembered her. What began as years of sorrow ended with the birth of Samuel, a prophet who would shape Israelβs destiny.
When life presses you down, rise like Hannahβpray on, worship on, and go up. Keep showing up before God despite pain, and He will turn tears into testimony. Faith that goes on and goes up cannot remain emptyβit attracts heavenβs answer.
