Gen 48:18,19 And Joseph said to his father, “Not so, my father, for this one is the firstborn; put your right hand on his head.” But his father refused and said, “I know, my son, I know. He also shall become a people, and he also shall be great; but truly his younger brother shall be greater than he, and his descendants shall become a multitude of nations.”
Joseph presented his two sons, Ephraim and Manasseh, to his father Jacob so that he could confer his blessings on them. He presented Ephraim at his right hand and Manasseh at his left with hope that Jacob would reach out with his right hand and confer greater blessings to his older son Manasseh.
But Jacob crossed his arms and put his right hand on Ephraim’s head, who was younger thus conferring the greater blessings on him. When Joseph attempted to object, his father was firm and insisted that he knew what he was doing.
Your blessings will always locate you. Men, in their wisdom may allocate you what they think should be yours but God will always ensure you get what is rightfully yours. Others may even attempt to disinherit you but God will always frustrate them.
