Gen 45:5 And now do not be distressed and do not be angry with yourselves for selling me here, because it was to save lives that God sent me ahead of you.
God is always in control of every disappointment that comes our way. Our disappointments are God’s appointments .
Joseph’s brothers sold him as a slave to merchants headed to Egypt. The people who were supposed to ensure his well being are the people who thrashed him to the world of misery. As far as his brother’s were concerned, this was good riddance. “The amazing lesson for us in the story of Joseph is that God takes our disappointments, and even our shortcomings and works them into his overall good purpose . “( Dave Reid -Growing Christian Ministries)
Whatever challenge and disappointment you are encountering today has not gotten God by surprise . You may have been falsely accused, maliciously sacked from your job, relocated under unclear circumstances , denied a promotion, conned and swindled off what is legally yours etc. Cheer up, the Almighty God has organised for your come back!
